Updates for the week of June 25th to 29th:

Will picks up a document saying that EJ is not Stefano’s heir and EJ snatches it away from him. Stefano’s lawyer Arthur already knows EJ’s ‘secret’, so EJ tries to negotiate with him. Will is on the front page of the local newspaper and his ‘outing’ is all the rage in Salem. Sonny is surprised that Will is working for EJ again, but Will admits that he is only doing it to find some ‘dirt’. Sami and Lucas bond, remembering their time as a couple, while Daniel and Nicole get close and have sex. Bo and Hope prepare for Lexie’s funeral. to deal with her grief. To deal with her sorrow, Ciara draws pictures of her, Theo and Lexie.

 Will tells Lucas and Sami that  he is back working for EJ, much to their frustration; Sami warns EJ to stay away from Will!  And EJ scolds Will for running to mommy with his problems! Rafe confronts Nicole for switching the DNA test and EJ almost overhears. Nicole offers to search EJ’s apartment when Spencer and Rafe can’t get a warrant. Lucas talks to Sonny and comes to a realization about Sonny’s true feelings for Will.

Nicole manipulates EJ into allowing her into his apartment so she can search it. Rafe and Carrie discuss how much they miss each other. They get close to kissing. Chad is down in the dumps that he still has yet to hear from Melanie, who is still locked up in the basement. Melanie is  more frightened by Andrew than ever. He refuses to tell her what he wants.
Chad runs into EJ, hoping they can have a relationship. They hug!

 Brady believes that Ian had something to do with his drug test being positive, and Kate tends to agree. She accuses Ian of drugging Brady. Nicole finds bullets in EJ’s apartment, and hides them in her purse. EJ comes in and he and Nicole bond when the baby kicks.

Roman informs Rafe and Spencer that he’s trying to call in a favor to get a search warrant for EJ’s new apartment.
Spencer wonders if Rafe is being biased over the case. Nicole delivers th goods, and the bullets found at EJ’s place match the murder weapon!

Kayla drops off a DVD to Abe from Lexie, who makes his day easier. Brady makes accusations while he’s high and talking to Madison. Lexie Carver’s family gathers at Chez Rouge for her final tribute. Have the tissues handy.
Everyone has a story to tell about Lexie at the service. EJ feels the odd man out so shares his own memories with Sami, who puts aside her anger and comforts him. Sami hopes Lexie forgave her for her past contemptuous behavior and EJ believes that she did.  Johnny insists his parents EJ & Sami, share a dance. He wants them back together again!

Kayla confides in Jack and Jennifer about her feelings about having a divorce.

Updates: Matthew Ashford (Jack), Sarah Brown (Madison), Christie Clark (Carrie) and Patrick Muldoon (Austin) are all going to be leaving Salem very soon, in the next few weeks. All of the actors were brought in last fall as part of the show’s much hyped revamp, and their contracts were not renewed.
