For most of July, those long summer ‘Days’ are here. Sonny is pleased when it seems Will is making an effort with Paul… but Will once again has an ulterior motive. He seems to want Paul.

Will, Sonny, Paul, and Derrick’s night out ends in violence. Derrick (Spencer Neville)  the hotel employee, is back.

Serena drops a bomb on Daniel!
Will urges Abigail to hear Chad out, especially before she learns the identity of her baby’s father. It looks like Chad will resort to blackmail! Clyde takes steps to ensure Abigail’s paternity test comes out his way.

JJ goes undercover and it burns him up when he sees Paige and Kyle the druggie growing closer.

While Rafe starts having feelings for Hope, Hope and Aiden enjoy romance.

Serena stumbles upon a secret about Nicole and Eric’s encounter that could destroy Nicole’s and Daniel’s relationship.
Chloe returns to Salem on Monday, August 3rd.. She has a really big issue with Nicole being around her son Parker.

There is a rumor that the character of Sonny will leave the show, but he is NOT killed off.

Thaao Penghlis returns in September as Andre. Fans will see a face-off between Andre and John.

Soap opera veteran John-Paul Lavoisier has been cast as Philip Kiriakis. Look for him in late November or before Christmas.

New writers Dena Higley and Josh Griffith are on board – look for their stories to start in August.

Serena is slowly written out of the show.

Paige (True O’Brien) will most likely leave the show in the fall.

Aiden and son Chase will leave in late October- November.
