What’s with the elephant?

It seems like the entire month of February revolves around this darn elephant statue. Serena gets her chance to grab it, only to find out that Eric has given it away! Oh, no! What, pray tell, does the elephant have that is so important? Turns out that there could be special jewels or a special something inside or, that elephant may be a rare artifact in itself.

For much of February, Theresa has a new squeeze named Clint (who is really a sleaze who is working with the evil Dr. Mandrake, Kristens’ fertility doctor). Theresa still has feelings for Brady, of course, and unexpectedly comes to his rescue. She tries to reach Clint – but makes a surprising connection with someone else instead. Could it be Kristen or Dr. Mandrake?

Paul’s mother, Tori, arrives, and she has a strange reaction when Paul introduces her to someone in Salem. It seems that she had an affair with either Lucas or John Black way back when. Hmmm…….

Clyde returns to haunt Victor as Sonny gets a stab in the back! Ouch! While in the hospital, Sonny finds out that Will had a fling with Paul. Desperate to save his marriage, Will pleads with Sonny to forgive him.

Justin returns and it’s evident he has been busy with something other than work. There’s a big reveal there and Adrienne must make life-changing decisions. Lucas plays a part when the two fight feelings for each other.

Hope and Aiden are alone at the cabin and she finds a video from his former wife. Aiden gets upset and he and Hope argue….finally, he comes out with the whole truth. It involves his kid, Chase. Enough said.

Love is in and out of the air, even on Valentine’s Day. JJ claims to have a new girlfriend but has several flings with Paige’s mom.

Meanwhile, Paige asks Cole, the druggie dropout, on a date.
