It’s the oh so slow Days of August. Much of the storyline from July will be dragged on into the month. Brady decides to stay in Salem and will get an annulment from his marriage from Teresa. Kristen goes to court and is freed on bail. In a last ditch attempt for something resembling peace, she pleads with Brady for an opportunity to make things right. She comes up with a scheme to make this seemingly impossible task happen, but that could quickly hit a snag. It involves getting a specialist to help John Black.

Meanwhile, Sonny and Will’s relationship continues to take a hit thanks to the Kiriakis going behind his husband’s back. Will comes out with a scathing article about Sami, EJ and Abigail, and it doesn’t go over well. As they are fighting it out, Aiden and Hope are caught in a close moment that forces them to come closing to discussing their feelings. The lawyer decides it’s time to make a confession. He loves her (or loves her not?) – what’s up with this storyline?

Sami’s remaining Days are fraught with threats. Abigail gets in her face and warns that she has means to destroy her. Sami is probably a lot more worried about something else though. She and Kate learn that Stefano is on his way back to town and he’s on the warpath. The Dimera children are suddenly absent from the mansion. Across Salem, Theresa gets an eyeful of JJ and Paige. Will she be able to keep her mouth shut about it?

Updates: EJ will fake his death. Teresa and Brady will get back together and this will upset Kristen. Actor Billy Flynn will take over the role of Chad Dimera starting in mid September.
