Photo: William Flynn resumed the role of Chad Dimera on September12th.

Due to Eve’s devious plan, Paige and JJ’s first college party goes awry. JJ is set up for failure as Jill drugs him! Chad starts making demands in Salem and sets his sights on upsetting things between Abby and Ben. Chad accuses the barista of being a thief and this leads to a fight. He wants Ben fired! Jordan is confronted by a man from her past and Chad comes to her rescue. EJ will also be confronted by someone from his past (namely his mum, Susan Banks) who has been keeping tabs on him. Wait for her to make an appearance!

EJ is more determined than ever to win back Sami, no matter if it means taking a more drastic stand against the family and faking his own death.

In other news, Nicole considers taking a job outside of Salem. She’s curious how Eric will feel about that. Romance looks like it could finally come to Hope after she admits to Aiden that she does indeed have feelings for him. Hope reaches out to Bo – for a divorce! While they are working that out, Sami’s family is doing their best to convince her not to work things out with Elvis. Roman gives her the best pitch he can muster about why a reunion would be a bad idea. And Clyde asks Kate out on a date, but will she accept?

Another upset could also be in the works for Sonny and Will thanks to Will’s newest assignment. Will is after a new story and the DiMeras are going to be affected.

John Black will come out of his coma but will have memory difficulties.

Update: Kristen (Eileen Davidson) will have a three month story arc that will conclude in late September or mid October.

The stage is set this month for Melanie’s November return!

Actress Melissa Archer will join Days as Serena, a woman with ties to Salem. She’ll first appear December 5. and will possibly play Sarah Horton.
